Care Web
A CareWeb is a Web-based community-oriented healthcare communications system. CareWeb
enables effective communication of essential information among healthcare providers, facilitating an
integrated team-based approach to meeting the healthcare needs of the community.

The Visible Human Project
The Award Winning Visible Human Project at NPAC features both 2-D and
3-D viewing of the Human Body. The long-term goal of the Visible Human Project is to produce a system of knowledge
structures that will transparently link visual knowledge forms to symbolic knowledge formats such as the names of
body parts.
Pulsar
New approaches to education for the diabled as well as higher cognitive throughput for all using novel Web linked
Human Computer Interfaces. Disabled persons, normal or special education students, and expert medical systems are
the three general classes of computer users for whom Pulsar provides inputs.

TeleMedicine
This project, supported by Rome Laboratory, has been for developing and
demonstrating telemedicine applications in conjunction with the SUNY Health Science Center (HSC). This effort
includes investigation of the appropriate collaboration technology required to support joint decision making
involving physically dispersed information and user locations.
