Test case no. 1: square problem

Figure 1 shows the shape of the initial condition used in the fine mesh calculation. Also shown in figure 1 is the final solution (at time t=0.6). The exact solution represents the convection of this wave to the final position with the shape unchanged.

The numerical solutions using the coarse and fine square meshes are presented in figure 2.

To further illustrate this point, a careful comparison between the exact solution and the numerical solution is also made on the these two meshes, shown in the following figures.
