I am a senior at Saint Michael's College in Vermont. I am at Syracuse University this summer as a research assistant at the Northeast Parallel Architectures Center (NPAC). This is the 1994 NPAC REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates). The project I am working on involves using Mosaic to create an interactive environment to aid the teaching of undergraduate Calculus. Calculus really is fun when you understand it, and we hope to make it easier to understand. NO MORE falling asleep because of a boring professor! We hope to get those boring classes into the lab where you can work at your own pace. If you want to nap, you'll have to think of some new excuse! Well, maybe we won't get you out of class and into the lab, but at least we hope to have the resource there so that you can have some extra help at your own pace! :-)

My personal interests include:
But who has any free time to do any of this fun stuff, anyway? I spend most of my time working. Well, at least this summer REU has been fun. I enjoyed working on this project. Want to hear about it? Hit the next hyperlink!
This is what I've been doing this summer. I hope to continue working on it from school this fall, so if anyone has any ideas, let me know. I'll be happy to look into any input offered. My e-mail address for the summer is below!
Hey, what cool graphs! And this is just the beginning!
The work done so far is available. Let me know if you find any really bad mistakes. I'd like to get anything obvious out of there as soon as I can so that it doesn't interfere with the study tool it is meant to be!
My RESUME is also available to anyone who might like to offer me a really great job! I am a very hard worker, and I would put my heart into any job that I felt I was making a difference in. Why don't you look at my resume? Your opening and I may be very well suited for each other!
